MAPECU3 ADVANCED PIGGY BACK ECU CONTROLLER

MAPECU has been around for quite some time and became popular in the 2000's around tuning the 2JZ and other Lexus application that had no ECU tuning capability.  FIGS has had the MAPECU running on our IS520 supercharged 3UZ for 6 years or so and the management flexibility and capability has always impressed us, especially at the price point.  In in effort to push Lexus tuning further we have joined forces with MAPECU out of New Zealand  to focus on their product for the US market for piggy back tuning and help facilitate sales and support domestically.  We are pleased to offer the MAPECU3 in its latest version which has so many more features and functions to cover a broad range of modifications from mild to extreme.  The largest benefit is that it can all remain in a single piggy back controller to keep control loops tight and not worry about parameter drift or thrashing between individual controller maps.  We will be offering tuner kit packages as well which include a compliment of mechanical components to assist in scaling the sensor inputs and maintaining the correct range for the factory ECU.

MAPECU3 is our 3rd generation piggy back ECU that not only allows you to tune fuel, ignition timing, etc., but it also adds performance and safety features to the OEM ECU that “chipping” or “reflashing” cannot add. One of the unique things MAPECU does is allow you to remove the OEM airflow meter, e.g. MAF, and convert to MAP for freer breathing.
